Synopsis:
Juan Bobo, the comic hero from Puerto Rico, seems to somehow bungle everything he tries, yet his good heart always leads him on the right course. Here Juan manages to save the Queen's necklace, unearth a plot by the palace thieves, and earn himself a place of wealth and respect in the King's esteem all because he is interested in befriending some of the palace garden's nightingales.

Description:
This 25 minute play script is a comic script with a variety of parts for a full class-load of students. It features a large leading male role (Juan), 5 good supporting female roles, 1 good supporting male role, and 6 supporting roles of any gender, plus a variety of non-speaking characters whose gender is interchangeable and whose numbers are expandable to accommodate the desired size of the cast. This play script is excellent for an elementary, middle school or high school cast of about 3rd grade or older and works well for adults, too. It can also be an intergenerational play with roles for youngsters and adults. The hard copy version is 8 1/2" x 11" spiral bound with color cover.
