"I didn't have any trouble at all. Got it downloaded. I can't wait to read the script. I have a student I tutor after hours and thought it would be good practice for her to do some reading aloud. I am a teacher assistant at an elementary school and a reading tutor after hours.

Description

This is a play or readers' theater piece about KINDNESS. There are many roles for students with easy to memorize (or to read) lines. In this play, a small bird is feeling very alone and has been watching a flock of waterbirds gather on a river every day. One day the waterbirds notice him. Each bird reaches out to say something kind to him. And in the end, they all fly into the sky together. Worksheets reflect on the theme and ask students to write down some of the ways in which they can be kind to others each day. Adapted for the stage by Carol J. Macy. 9 pp. 17+ characters. Appropriate for grades K thru 3.

"I use to teach first grade. Now I have 4 children that I stay at home with. I am doing a reading group with my oldest whom is going to be in 4th grade? I am hosting a summer reading group to keep my kids engaged with literacy in a fun way. I ordered this to do a fun activity. Thanks for inquiring."
