Using grade appropriate State and City Content Standards, participants will learn how to design and implement student activities to address learning objectives in the academic areas of math, science, social studies, language arts, etc. at any grade level.  Warm-up games, innovative teaching strategies and role play will be the means by which they will learn the step-by-step process of designing an entire interdisciplinary, thematic unit using music, dance, drama and the visual arts, and create a culminating experience for this unit through hands-on interactive activities.
